We're looking to hire a team of counsellors for our 2026 Summer Camp!
Camp Counsellor
Locations: Thamesford & Embro
Wage: $16.60-17.60/hour
Available Positions: 8
Positions: Full Time & Part Time
Hours:
Full-Time: 30–40 hours/week
Part-Time: 10+ hours/week
Shift Window: 6:45 AM - 6:30 PM
Vacation Allowance: 5 days off
About the Role
Camp Counsellors bring the magic of Camp Quest to life. You’ll guide your group through
hands-on activities, explore weekly themes and quests, and help create a camp environment
where curiosity thrives and every camper feels supported.
Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a group of campers through daily activities.

Bring weekly themes to life by creating fun, immersive experiences.
-
Prioritize camper safety during all programs, games, and field trips.

Work closely with the staff team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive space.

Assist with planning and supporting weekly field trips connected to camp themes.
Qualifications:
-
Energetic, reliable, and excited about working with children.
-
Experience in camps, childcare, or leadership roles is an asset.

Standard First aid & CPR is an asset
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Flexible and able to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments.

Minimum age: 15 years old.
Requirements
Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check. (18+)
Head Camp Counsellor
Locations: Embro
Wage: $19/hour
Available Positions: 1
Positions: Full Time
Hours:
Full-Time: 30–40 hours/week
Shift Window: 6:45 AM - 6:30 PM
Vacation Allowance: 5 days off
About the Role
The Head Counsellor works closely with the Camp Coordinator to support our counsellor
team and keep camp running smoothly. You’ll act as a point of contact for counsellors needing
help with behaviour challenges, parent communication, activity transitions, or daily logistics.
You’ll also help create a supportive atmosphere where campers feel included and staff feel
confident and equipped.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and
is passionate about helping kids have a memorable, meaningful summer.
Responsibilities:

Support the counsellor team throughout the summer.

Help ensure programming is running smoothly.

Assist with behaviour management.
-
Communicate with parents when needed, with professionalism and care.

Ensure camper safety and uphold Camp Quest policies and standards.

Help create a positive, inclusive environment for staff and campers.

Pitch in with camp-wide tasks such as preparing materials, organizing equipment, or

supporting activities.
